>About us< you are here
Hi, my name is Wesley. My wife and i started this website to make it easier for
parents to help their kids in math.
I‘m the father of a 12 year old girl. Over the years I have struggle to help her with her
math home work.
Some of the material I could not remember are simply did’t know. At 8pm on a Monday
night there is really know one you can turn to for help. So I began to search the
internet. I was amaze how much math information was out there. Hundreds of math
websites. I said “wow the web is truly a information heaven“.
Then I began searching my way through these websites, my frustration grew with
every click. So to make a long story short, There’s lots of math help out there but in
to many different places.
That’s how the idea of starting this project began. The idea is to create a math website
full of content, a one stop destination for all mathematics needs like videos, glossary,
text lesson, work sheets, math formula, symbol, and more. A website easy to navigate
and as simple to use as opening a book.
It's been a huge project and there's still so much I want to get done... But, I'm having a
great time doing it!
Some videos will be made in house. There are many teachers who upload math videos to file
sharing websites like, YouTube, AOL, Yahoo, and many more. These websites are great for
hosting videos, but they are not really a math website. There are literally dozens of these sites
popping up everyday. Every site will have a handful of videos.
Our job is to search, find and review these videos. Reviewing these videos is a time consuming
process, but we think its the best way.
How often is this site updated?
|
We are in the early stage of development. We are working on it everyday but most changes will
be seen weekly. You will need to refresh your browser often to get the latest version.
Anyone can Help build and expand the site…

There is an old saying "Jack of all trades, Master of none." It refers to someone who is skilled in
many different areas, but by spreading him or herself out so much, cannot focus enough to
master any one skill. We just want to focus on one thing math, maths, mathematics.
Thanks for visiting Math ATube.com
Our goal is for people from many different places and backgrounds to contribute to creative and
engaging exploration of mathematics.
