dimensional figure)
is the area outside. A rectangular
prism has 6 faces. The top and bottom is called
base.
Rectangular Prism
Find the surface area of the Rectangular Prism below.
Surface area formula = 2 × l × w + 2 × l × h + 2 × w × h

Surface area = 2 × 11 × 5 + 2 × 11 × 6 + 2 × 5 × 6

Surface area = 110 + 132 + 60

SA = 302 cm
length 11 cm, width of 5 cm, and height 6 cm

Find the surface area of a rectangular prism with a length of 7
cm, a width of 4 cm, and a height of 2 cm
SA = 2 × l × w + 2 × l × h + 2 × w × h

SA = 2 × 7 × 4 + 2 × 7 × 2 + 2 × 4 × 2

SA = 56 + 28 + 16

SA = 100 cm
