Adding Fractions With Unlike (different) Denominators
.........................................................................................................................................................................................
To be able to add fractions with different
Denominators, you must rename them so that they
have the same Denominators. To do that you have to
find the Least Common Multiple (LCM). Also call the
LCD Lowest common denaminator.
6 is lowest multiple of these two fraction,
because 6 is smallest number that divides
evenly into 2 and 3.
