The Greatest Common Factor (G.C.F.)

The Greatest Common Factor (G.C.F.) also known as
the greatest common divisor (GCD) or  highest common
factor (HCF) of two numbers is the largest number that is a
divisor of both.

Example:
4 is the GCF of 8 and 12. Why? Because 4 is the largest
number that divides evenly (without a remainder) into 8
and 12

Factors of 8 are 1, 2, 4, and 8

The factors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12
