Lowest Common Denominator (LCD)
Definition: The LCD lowest Common or least Common
Denominators.
It is the smallest number into which the Denominators
will divide evenly (With no remainders)
Example: To add or subtract fraction you must first change
them to fractions with the same Denominators by finding the
LCD
36 is the LCD of these fractions because the least
common multiple of
12 and 18 is 36.
