Find The Mean of a set of Numbers
The mean is also called the average. Add up the
series of numbers and divide by the number of
numbers in the group.
example 1: if you'd taken 3 tests and gotten a 70 on the first,
an 80 on the second and a 90 on the third. You add the three
to get 240, and then divide by 3 and your mean grade is 80.
So your average is 80.
